1. Booking & Payments

Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the receipt of the advance payment (token amount).

Payment Schedule: 50% of the total package/taxi cost must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be cleared upon arrival or at the start of the journey.

Pricing: Prices mentioned are subject to change based on fuel price hikes or government taxes.
2. Vehicle Usage & Limits

Standard Timings: In hilly areas of Uttarakhand, driving is strictly restricted between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM for safety reasons.

AC Usage: Air Conditioning (AC) will be switched off while driving in hilly/ghat areas to ensure engine safety and performance.

Route Changes: Any deviation from the pre-decided itinerary at the customer’s request will attract extra charges per kilometer.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

30+ Days before trip: 90% refund of the advance amount.

15-30 Days before trip: 50% refund of the advance amount.

Less than 15 Days: No refund will be provided for cancellations.

No Show: In case of a no-show, the full advance amount will be forfeited.
4. Force Majeure (Natural Calamities)

Shiv Holiday is not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by natural disasters like landslides, heavy snowfall, roadblocks, or government restrictions.

Any extra costs incurred due to such delays (extra hotel stay, vehicle waiting charges) will be borne by the customer.
5. Passenger Responsibility

Registration: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have the mandatory Uttarakhand Chardham Registration.

Documents: Passengers must carry their Original Aadhaar Card.

Belongings: Shiv Holiday is not responsible for the loss or theft of any personal belongings left in the vehicle or hotel.
6. Conduct & Safety

Illegal Activities: Carrying illegal substances or any form of misconduct with the driver will lead to immediate termination of the trip without any refund.

Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
